I. overview of electric heat tracing

The three-phase parallel constant power electric tracing band is provided with three parallel insulated copper stranded wires as the power supply bus, which is wound with the electric heating wire on the insulation layer of the inner sheath, and the electric heating wire is successively connected with the power supply bus AB -- BC -- CA -- AB at a certain distance (i.e. Repeated cyclic connection, forming continuous parallel resistance in every two phases. When the bus goes through three-phase electricity, each parallel resistance heats up at the same time, thus forming a continuous three-phase power supply companion.


Its working principle, product structure and application are similar to rdp2-j3 type constant power electric tracing band. The only difference is that its insulation material adopts high temperature resistant and waterproof glass fiber and PFA fluoroplastic with temperature resistance higher than F46. The fluid maintenance temperature can reach 180℃~205℃.

Three-phase shunt the principle of constant power electric tracing band are basically the same, the difference is single phase with the single-phase power supply, three-phase constant power electric tracing band using three-phase power triangle, three phase besides has the characteristics of the single-phase electric tracing band, especially suitable for long distance, large diameter pipe heat insulation, explosive gas mixture can be used in the factory area, the area of T3 group.

3. Features of electric heat tracing products:

In addition to the same characteristics of single-phase constant-power electric tracing tropics, the three-phase constant-power electric tracing tropics have the following advantages:


(1) the maximum allowable length of three-phase electric tracing band is higher than that of single-phase electric tracing band


(2) it can balance the load of the power grid in the large-scale application of the tracing band


(3) three core wires are used to flaten the three phase electric tracing tropics, reduce the surface heating load, increase the heat conduction area to the pipelines, and improve the heat transmission efficiency and high maintenance temperature of the electric tracing tropics.


4. Application of electric heat tracing products


This electric tracing band is suitable for heat tracing, anti-freezing and thermal insulation of pipelines, valves and pumps, or to maintain the process temperature of instrument pipelines, especially for large diameter and long distance thermal insulation.


(1) low solidification pipeline with continuous flow under normal conditions can avoid the solidification of medium due to stopping flow;


(2) heat tracing and insulation of liquid pipelines requiring strict control of operating temperature;


(3) anti-freezing of water pipelines and valves, and anti-freezing of drainage pipes, pumping pipes and condensing pipes in cold and frozen areas;


(4) anti-freezing of offshore platform pipelines;


(5) thermal insulation of general pipelines and instruments;


(6) heat tracing of oil production shaft at wellhead (replacing water jacket), and heat tracing of sewage well;


(7) anti-freezing of airport runway;


(8) anti-freeze curing of concrete products.
